Portfolio pg.2

This is an old 1940's? chest. It was a little banged up, but nothing that me, some wood putty, glue and a steady hand couldn't tackle! This piece was painted with an off-white and now sits in my "man-cave". I'm lovin it.

Another great chair that had just been taken advantage of and abused. I took out the old broken cane, and liked the look with it gone. I took the sander to it and smoothed out the lip where the cane used to be. I painted it black, put new dakron and put a tried and true black and white paisley fabric on it. Listed on Craigs List on 3-9-11. For sale $75.00, contact me at 812-568-0447 if interested.

An old brass vanity stool, which was in really good condition. Just splashed a little color on it and put a cushioned zebra print on the seat.

This is an old wingback that we think dates back to the 30's-40's based off of the numbers on it. We picked this one up for free! We bought some chairs from a lady and this was in a corner of her basement. Her cat had thrown-up on the cushion and she was going to throw it away. I couldn't let that happen to such a beautiful chair, so away we went with it. It now sits in the corner of our bedroom as a reading chair.
